“Welcome to the Rodhus Gallery”

Not all lighting manufacturers are the same and the reason we created the Rodhus gallery was to showcase unique lighting fittings and systems. We wanted the space to work in a number of ways.

• To showcase the work of different lighting designers.

• To forge links with educational organizations by encouraging the students to become involved in design and manufacturing.

• To host regular networking events. We will be running various events throughout the year. Go to our news page to find out more.

Rodhus Gallery Exhibition Programme

Beauty in British Manufacturing - 3rd – 20th December 2008.

A celebration and review of 60 years of British manufacturing and a look ahead focussing on contemporary and recycled lighting. (This event has been kindly sponsored by the MAS).

 

Private view – 27th November from 5pm to 7pm.

This is an invitation only event. Please contact us if you would like to attend.

The Rodhus Gallery will be open for viewings on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of every week from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Please contact us if you would like to arrange a private viewing or a group viewing at any other time.

Group show presenting new work by four local designers – Abbi Kiki goes ‘off the wall’ with some exclusive graffiti inspired work, Sean Dare with some unique table and floor lighting, Sara Mouncer’s ceramic linked pendants and Richard Christian’s Led wall panels – something for everyone…

SKK – retrospective – June 2009.

The Rodhus Gallery is proud to present a retrospective exhibition by international lighting designer Shiu-Kay Kan. From his base in Soho Shiu-Kay produces a broad range of lighting for all occasions – expect Led’s as well as cats, Dogs and Buddahs! All will be revealed in June.
