Welcome to the Rodhus Gallery

We set up The Rodhus Gallery because we felt that there were very few shops or showrooms in Brighton that promoted an alternative to the derivative lighting market. We wanted the space to work in three main ways;

• To show off works by different lighting designers

• to forge links with educational establishments to encourage students to become involved in both design and manufacturing and finally

• to host industry related networking groups – you can visit our news page to find out more about the networking initiative.

Our intention is to run various events throughout the year. Make sure that you bookmark this page because we will be updating it regularly.

Rodhus Gallery Exhibition Programme

Rodhus Gallery Exhibition Programme Beauty in British Manufacturing - 3rd – 20th December 2008. Not only a celebration and revue of 60 years of manufacturing, but also a look ahead with emphasis on the contemporary and recycled. (This event has been kindly sponsored by the MAS).

 

Private view – 27th November from 5pm to 7pm. This is an invitation only event. Please contact us if you would like to attend. The Rodhus Gallery will be open for viewings on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of every week from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Please contact us if you would like to arrange a private viewing or a group viewing at any other time.

Future Programmes:

KiKiUK - 12th January - 7th February 2009 - Abbi Kiki will be presenting selected works including lighting fabricated in metal and fibreglass.

Group Show – at the Rodhus Gallery - 2nd March - 21st March 2009 - The Rodhus Gallery will present the work of four lighting designers that work in different media and that use different light sources.
